There are things I’ve lived through that don’t translate neatly into words. I can explain the details, offer context, tell the story from start to finish — but that doesn’t mean the person listening will actually understand what I mean.
Most people imagine schizophrenia in extremes — the highs, the lows, the confusion, the intensity. And yes, my mind has taken me to places that felt both thrilling and terrifying.
